Rally organizers focus on bands, cut bikini contest
When motorcycles descend upon the city of Hollister this weekend, the town will be ready – a contrast to the first gathering years ago when bikers caught the area by surprise and, according to folklore, left beer bottles and chaos in their wake.
Downtown begins transformation for Hollister Rally
Preparations were visibly under way and bikers continued to steadily stream into town during early parts of the week in preparation for the Hollister Rally motorcycle event set for the weekend.
Downtown had net gain of businesses in 2013
Downtown Hollister had more businesses open in 2013 than those that closed shop, according to numbers provided by the Hollister Downtown Association.
