Editor,

Jaime you’re full of it. On Feb. 22, I spoke before the county Board of Supervisors, where they did not have a translator for the Hispanic residents. I reminded the board that at the Feb. 15 meeting I had asked for an interpreter, and that Supervisor Jaime De La Cruz had said “don’t you worry, I will have an Interpreter on Tuesday” during an earlier informational meeting for Hispanics that Carlos Vargas organized at Margaret Maze with Mr. Gary Ramos from the California Valley Miwoks.

Needless to say, he did not provide a translator at either meeting. And, he was dishonest with the Hispanic community and his constituents about bringing jobs. What is high pay Jaime?

I am now looking for an attorney to get legal advice about discrimination by the board for not providing a public news bulletin to the proper media inviting the Hispanic Community to attend any of the public meetings to air their views on the casino.

Jaime De La Cruz, you’re going to have a great future in politics, because you promise the world and wind up dishonest. I would like to thank Mayor Pauline Valdivia and the rest of the council members, for proposing a subcommittee and having an open mind, waiting for the facts to come in, exploring all sides before making a very important decision to their constituents. When will we ever get an opportunity like this again?
