Dear Readers:

Your event – whether it’s a Girl Scout troop finishing a community project or grandmother’s 80th birthday – matters to us.

But we can’t send a photographer to every event. So, today we’re launching “Community Camera.” If there’s an event you would like to photograph for publication in your daily community newspaper, we’ll loan you an easy-to-use digital camera.

Just come into our offices at 350 Sixth St. in Hollister and sign out the camera. When you bring it back, leave us the basic information about the photograph, including who’s in the picture, and we’ll take it from there.

Photographs will be published every Thursday under the “Community Camera” banner in the Food and Wine section.

We look forward to your submissions and the opportunity to publish even more community photographs. Don’t hesitate to call with questions, 637-5566, ext. 337.
