Zach Zgragen shot his best round of golf this year, finishing one-under par at 35 in a practice match played at the Gabilan Course at Ridgemark against visiting King City.

Zgragen had eight pars and one birdie during the match that San Benito won. No official team scores were kept for King City.

Chris Shackleton shot a 38 for the Balers. Jason Allen had a 42, Wesley Nelson has a 43, Derek Stone had a 45 and Dan Isaacson shot a 46.

The Haybalers will be on tour next week with 20-team tournaments in the Atwater Invitational at Stevenson Ranch on Monday and then in the Monterey High tournament at Rancho Canada. On Wednesday, San Benito will have a league match against Gilroy and Palma at Laguna Seca.
