Browns Alley pothole

A resident called the Red Phone to let us know about a whole mess of potholes on Browns Alley near Dunne Park and downtown Hollister.
“It just really, really needs help,” said the woman, who described the potholes as being about two feet deep – they were all full of rainwater on Wednesday – and creating a major hazard for drivers.
She actually suggested closing the road if it isn’t fixed up. The City of Hollister’s Public Works Department, meanwhile, routinely responds to such pothole-ridden areas upon request. Street officials are aware of the problem, and we will check back to find out what happens.
