The Anzar girls basketball team ended its home season Monday with a 54-11 victory over Oakwood.
Anzar dominated the game, preventing Oakwood from scoring in both the second and third quarters.
On offense, freshman Leslie Martinez led the Hawks with 14 points. Jessica Tidwell and Gabriela Medina each added 10 in the victory. In total, eight Hawks scored points.
The victory gives the Hawks a 6-3 record in the Coastal Athletic League and a n 8-15 record overall.
The Hawks finish their season at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Pacific Collegiate.
AHS boys basketball
The boys basketball team fell to 2-9 in the Coastal Athletic League on Monday, losing 43-35 to Oakwood.
Anzar finishes its season Thursday at 4 p.m. in Pacific Collegiate.
The Hawks are 3-21 on the season.
