 Jim was born in Calera, OK in December of 1935. He died in Morgan Hill on April 3, 2016, at the age of 80.  
 He graduated from Coleman High School in Coleman, OK and then the University of Oklahoma. He worked at Lockheed Missiles and Space – later Lockheed-Martin – in Sunnyvale, CA, for over 35 years. He met his wife Ginnie there. They were married in 1964, and lived in San Martin, CA, since 1978.
 Jim enjoyed dominos, horseshoes, homemade banana ice cream, camping, sports, and especially his family. 
 He was a dedicated son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Jim always put the needs of others ahead of his own.
 Jim is survived by siblings, Keith Estep (Diane), LaRue Willingham (Don), Marilyn Goodwin, Trudy Daniel (David), John Estep (Becky) and Kathy Estep; son Scott Estep (Kerrie), daughter Shannon Zentner, daughter Dawn Shoemake (Shoe); grandchildren Garrett, Shane, Amanda, Rachel and Kyle; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
 He is preceded in death by Ginnie, his wife of 49 years, youngest son, Wade, parent, Ode and Maggie, and his sister, Sue.
