passed away peacefully at the age of 92.  Bob was a native of San Francisco.  He was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.  Bob is survived by his beloved and loving wife, Carla, of nearly 47 years, daughter, Gail, sons, Rodney and Marc, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and close friends and his precious pet, Princess.

He was a WWII Army Veteran who landed at Omaha Beach in 1944 with the 741st Tank Battalion and earned two purple hearts and a Bronze Star.  He was a long time cement contractor and a retired real estate agent.

Bob was always a charmer who greeted you with a smile and a wise crack; everyone loved to be around him.

Family and friends are invited to a special mass to celebrate his life, which will be held at St. Benedict’s Church on September 10, 2012, at 1:00 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude hospital, Veterans Administration, or a charity of your choice.
