Friends can pay their respects on Thursday, January 3, 2013, from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.The Mass will be on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church. Josephine M. Quintero passed away at her Hollister home at the age of 90. She was born in Yorba Linda, CA and lived in Hollister since she was a teenager.
She married her husband, Jesus, in 1942 in Gilroy, and he preceded her in death in 1998.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and she and her husband began their business as labor contractors in 1944 forming what is now Jesus L. Quintero, Inc.
She is survived by her children, David and Martha Quintero of Hollister, Margaret Rodriguez of Hollister and Hope and Isidro Beltran of Hollister, her brothers and sisters, Louie Mena of Roseville, Ernie Mena of San Jose, Loretta Gomez of Salinas, Betty Avila of Las Vegas, NV and Rita Orosco of Hollister. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 30 great- grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carmen Casarez who died in 1993.
