Comic Book Day is in its 10th year and has been successful at sharing the art form with people.
“Even if you have never picked up a comic book, stop into Bill’s Bullpen because you never know what you will end up finding,” he said.

“We at Bill’s Bullpen want to spread the word that comics are perfect for today’s times,” Mifsud said. “Comic books and graphic novels are considered hip, hot and smart.”
Mifsud noted that many comic books have been adapted into movies.
Free Comic Book Day begins May 7, at 10 am., at Bill’s Bullpen, 207 Fourth St., in Hollister, and will last until all the free comics have been given out. For more information, call 636-1180.
