Former resident of Morgan Hill and Gilroy, Mary Harris passed away December 6, 2011, after a brief illness, in Wymore, Nebraska.

She was the third of five children and attended schools there. She was in the restaurant business most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Wymore, Nebraska.

A good wife, loving mother and doting grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary outlived her three husbands, Earl Gene Byrd, Sr., Al Varner, and Robert Harris. Her three sons also preceded her in death; Earl Gene Byrd, Jr., Raymond Varner, and Martin Harris. After the recent passing of her only grandchild Jeremy Varner, she went into seclusion until her death.

She is survived by two great-grandsons, Joseph and Matthew and their mother Melissa Varner. Also preceding her in death were her parents, and brothers Rev. Otha Hill and Raymond Hill.

She leaves a sister, Doris Bolton of Lincoln, Nebraska and a brother, David D. Agaliotis, Sr. of Morgan Hill as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services have been held in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The family wishes peace to her memory.
