The boys basketball team won its opening game of the Condor Classic on Wednesday, beating host North Monterey County 52-15.
The win was the largest of the Balers’ season.
San Benito continues the tournament in the winners bracket at 6:30 p.m. Thursday against Stevenson. The Pirates, 3-5, defeated Pajaro Valley 63-29 to advance to the second round of the Condor Classic.
With the win Wednesday, the Balers are 8-2 and have won seven games in a row.
