Dorothy F. Coffman September 23, 1927 – December 26, 2014

 Per Dorothy’s request, there will be a private burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Gilroy.
 Dorothy Coffman, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 87, on December 26, 2014.
 Dorothy was born and raised in Gilroy and lived on the same piece of property for her entire life. She married her much-loved Ed in 1946, and they were together for 60 years until his death in 2006.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Coffman; her grandson, Dustin Bettencourt; her parents, John and Mary Reis; and her sister, Margaret Gimenez.
 She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Karen and Dan Hager, Eileen and Jim Bertsch, Mike and Gina Coffman, and MJ and Bobby Bettencourt. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and their spouses: Jon and Kelly Bettencourt, Heidi and Chris Keith, Julia and Marc Covert, Melanie and Joe Gularte, David and Megan Coffman, and Michelle and Nick Hernandez. She had five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy : Jacob, Christopher, and Allyson Bettencourt and Oliver and Sally Covert.
 Dorothy is now at peace, in God’s care. She was loved by many, and she will be missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her caring nature and lively personality.
