At 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Target, police responded to a report of
shoplifting after store security caught two juvenile females
stealing clothing. The two girls, ages 12 and 13, took clothes off
its hangars before stuffing them inside their purses. They then
tried to leave the store before being caught by security. Officers
called and handed them over to their parents.
Shoplifting, Airline Highway

At 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Target, police responded to a report of shoplifting after store security caught two juvenile females stealing clothing. The two girls, ages 12 and 13, took clothes off its hangars before stuffing them inside their purses. They then tried to leave the store before being caught by security. Officers called and handed them over to their parents.

Robbery, Sunset Drive

Police responded to a report of a robbery at 9:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Sunset and Hillock Drive. A woman was walking through the area on her way to Target when two suspects, a male and female, pushed her to the ground and started to kick her. They took her purse and emptied it onto the sidewalk before taking the woman’s wallet. The female suspect was described as a 5’7″Hispanic weighing 120 pounds. The male suspect was described as skinny and 5’10’ with buzzed hair. Police have no other suspect information.

Obstruction, Sixth Street

Around 11:15 p.m. Friday, police responded to the 600 block of Sixth Street to reports of gunshots when they discovered two people having an argument. When police tried to calm down the pair, the man started yelling and was uncooperative toward police. He was restrained, arrested and taken to jail.

Battery on Person, Peach Court

Just after midnight Saturday near the 1000 block of Peach Court, police reported two competing reports of battery after two 20-year-old females got into a fight over a man. The two women pushed each other and filed a report against each other.

Disorderly Conduct, Sixth Street

Police responded to a report of a drunken man near the entrance to the Dunne Park bathroom at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. When officers arrived they found the man’s legs protruding the entrance to the bathroom and he was lying face down on the ground. When police got to him, he was asleep and had urinated on himself. Police arrested and took him to jail.

Burglary, Tres Pinos Road

Just after 8 p.m. Saturday police reported two 14-year-old boys stealing alcohol from Safeway. The boys walked inside and put the beer in their pockets before running out of the store. An officer was already on site when the juveniles ran outside where a getaway car was waiting for them. The car left before the suspects could get to it and the officer on scene was able to chase the juveniles down. They were arrested and their parents were called.
