Joyce was born July 9, 1947, in San Jose, CA to Augustus and Edith (Pasley) Myers.
Joyce was a skilled and competitive game player and found happiness in spoiling her grandchildren and showing them so much love. Joyce married Frank Esparza in December of 1965.
Survivors include her husband Frank Esparza of Dalhart, TX. Her children – Luanne Martinez of Gilroy, CA, Steven and Vanessa Esparza of Hollister, CA, Shawna and Mike Haney of Dalhart, TX, Frank and Kris Esparza of Sacramento, CA. Two sisters; Barbara Silva of Hollister, CA and Elizabeth Karris of Aromas, CA and one brother; Richard Wells of San Jose, CA
nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Grandchildren: Lorine, Gabriel, and Andrea Martinez of Gilroy, CA, Steven Joseph Esparza of U.S. Army Ft. Huachuca, AZ, Jacob, Janessa and Jalyssa Esparza of Hollister, CA
Lindsey and Laura Esparza of Sacramento, CA. Great-grandchildren: Gabriel Martinez Jr. of Gilroy, CA Liana Esparza of Sacramento, CA.
Preceded in death by her parents and a brother Dale Wells.
