Native and lifelong Hollister resident, Ines A. Lemos passed away at her home last Friday at the age of 96 years. As a young girl, Ines received her education at the Pacheco School in north San Benito County. Ines was a Sacred Heart Church parishioner, a member of the Pacheco Hall Association and a devoted family member who loved cooking for family gatherings, working in her garden, and spending time in the out of doors. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph “Joe” E. Lemos who passed away March 11, 2002.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Beverly and Don Dixon of Hollister; her grandchildren Don Dixon Jr., Doug Dixon, spouse Lisa, and Denelle Dixon-Thayer, husband Chris; great-grandchildren Justin, Makenzie, Joshua, Casey, and Tyler Dixon; Dylan and Trevor Thayer; her sisters Ida McPhail, Elsie Scagliotti, and Armeda Dooling; her brother Ralph Sabbatini; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Frank & Ray Sabbatini, and sister Anna Lavagnino.

Friends are invited to the funeral services today (Tues. March 10th) beginning at 1:00 P.M. at the Grunnagle Funeral Home Chapel 870 San Benito St., Hollister. Visitation will be this morning from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
