There will be a memorial service held at the Guglielmo Winery, 1480 East Main Avenue in Morgan Hill, on July 12, 2015, at 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, suggested donations to the John Manning Memorial Scholarship, Live Oak High School 1505 E. Main Avenue, Morgan Hill, CA 95037 would be much appreciated.
 Michael A. Hauser of Bermuda Dunes, CA passed away on June 8 , 2015.
 He was born on January 21, 1946 to Margaret and Alois Hauser in Sacramento, CA.
 Attended St. Patrick’s Elementary School and Christian Bros. High School. Attended Sacramento State University where he received his teaching degree.
 He taught at St. Patrick’s school and moved on to Moreau High School, where he coached football. He then moved to Sandy, UT to do his Master’s degree.
 His thesis was sliding injuries in Little League.
 He moved to Morgan Hill in 1975, and was hired by Live Oak High to coach boys’ soccer and teach P.E.
 After a few years, he began coaching Jr. Varsity football and became the head coach. He coached many years with the JV team. He moved up to Varsity in 1979.
 He married Marcy, his best friend and love of his life, in June of 1979, the day after a victorious Powder Puff game for his senior girls!
 In 1981, he opened Roadrunner Driving School. He sold the business to his daughter, Kendel Place after 23 years in business. She continues to service the south county area.
 He retired from football and coached the girls’ softball team for several years.
 He took his master’s thesis design for a tapered base and developed it, and patented it. He manufactured Saf-T Slider bases for many years before being bought out by Hollywood Bases.
 Upon retirement from Britton Middle School where he taught woodshop and P.E., he and Marcy moved to Bermuda Dunes.
 He is survived by his wife, Marcy, daughter, Jodie Morlet, son-in-law, Luc Morlet, grandchildren, Paul and Claire Morlet, step-daughters, Kendel Place, Tiffany Twisselman, son-in-law, Jason Twisselman, grandson, Anthony Valdivia, sister, Margaret Schapp, husband, Dave, Tina Warren, husband, David, several nieces and nephews.
 He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara.
