Marian Sylvia Swan September 10, 1929 – January 20, 2014

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kellerman foundation may be made through Holy Trinity Church, 201 High St., Nevada City, CA 95959. A celebration of her life is being planned for February 22, 2014, at 11:00 A.M., Trinity Church.
 Extraordinary mother, wife, teacher, faithful servant of the Lord, passed away January 20, 2014 in Gilroy. Marian was born on September 10, 1929, in Sydney Australia.
 In her teens, lived in San Francisco then to pursue her degree in Phys-Ed from San Jose State. She taught dance in several schools in Oregon and California including Alameda High School, Santa Cruz (Harbor High) and substituted at Live Oak.
 Marian will be missed by her husband of 45 years, Rev. William O Swan (St John’s the Divine 1971-1976) of Grass Valley; her daughter Kristine Friebel (Tom), her granddaughter Katrina Friebel Smith (Chris), grandson Anthony Friebel and her great-grandson Kaiden Smith, as well as her step-daughter Anne Solik (Steven) and Virginia (Bruce), grand-daughter Elizabeth Swan Weitzel(Sean), great grand-son Ethan. Together with her husband, she worked with YWAM (Youth with a Mission) in Hawaii, a missionary in Papua New Guinea, AGLOW as well as many Christian outreach groups.
