Gerald Gomez died on Feb. 21 at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. He was
born in Mission, Texas and was 39 years old.

Prior to becoming ill he worked as a computer programmer and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos. He lived almost all of his life in San Benito County.
He is survived by his father and mother, Benito and Maria Isabel Gomez of Tres Pinos; his brothers and sisters, Rufino and Teresa Gomez of Hollister (his twin brother), Joe Gomez of Tres Pinos, Juan and Yolanda Gomez of Tres Pinos, Saul Gomez of Tres Pinos, Tony Gomez of Hollister and Benny Gomez of Stockton.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Brittany, Michael, Joel and Desiree (Boo Boo) Gomez all of Tres Pinos.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rufino and Julia Mottu and his uncle, Conrado Mottu of Indio.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos. Rev. Richard Clark will be the celebrant.
Arrangements and cremation are through Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home and Gavilan Hills Crematory. Private family inurnment is planned.
