After reading
”
HHH Should Put Patient’s Needs Above All Else,
”
I was utterly disgusted and ashamed of the article written by a
STUDENT; who had so ignorantly and most of all childishly bad
mouthed the reputable, well established and highly educated
directors of Hazel Hawkins Hospitals.
After reading “HHH Should Put Patient’s Needs Above All Else,” I was utterly disgusted and ashamed of the article written by a STUDENT; who had so ignorantly and most of all childishly bad mouthed the reputable, well established and highly educated directors of Hazel Hawkins Hospitals. You should at least think about a director who has many years of experience in the field as a Registered Nurse would only choose the best student out there. A student who has exemplified RESPECT, dignity, and, above all, else the willingness to accept that someone else may be more qualified for such a position. One shouldn’t count all their eggs before they’ve been hatched. Also, just because you are employed at the same facility you shouldn’t expect a handout. If that was the case, none of Gavilan’s interns would have a chance to be hired. You are just one of the many applicants. And, to scream discrimination as a cheap tactic just so you can create a scandal in hopes that you will be given the position is sheer laziness!
To end this letter I have three points to make : 1. You are still a student, not yet a nurse. So please, don’t refer to yourself as something you are not. That is an insult to those who have already worked hard and have graduated to earn that title. I also think it’s illegal as well to impersonate. 2. School isn’t meant to be easy. So please stop complaining about the sacrifices you make. You are not the only older woman attending school with children! Hundreds of thousands of students everyday endure the long, arduous battles of academic excellence and combat these sacrifices head on! Lastly, this position you keep referring to should be given to a respectful student, who should know that in the pool of other students fighting for this position that there may be someone else, once again, better qualified. I would think that this position would be given to a stellar student willing to learn. However, according to your letter you seem to expect it! So please, have a heart and put aside your shortcomings and don’t lie to our community! When in truthfulness, you just didn’t get the job. Besides who wants a complainer when they can have an honest worker! Good call HHH.
