Dear Editor,

In response to Molly Ivin’s column on Nov. 9, I agree with John Henry’s theory on how to cure a chicken-killing dog. You tie that chicken tightly abound its neck long enough, until no other dog or person will go near the beast. The liberals have been wired around the neck of the American people long enough and it has cured most Americans of electing Democrats. The result is what happened on Nov. 3, when most Americans got sick and tired of the Democrats shoving their liberal ideas down our throats.

Do you really think that Bush standing up for moral values is a dirty trick, to fool the American voters? And tell me, is family, patriotism and faith in God such a sin in your liberal world?

You say to your fellow progressives to stop thinking of moving abroad (Canada?). I say stay here, preach your liberal ideas and pessimism to us and watch the Red States grow. The way you and your “progressives” think has rescued the country.

So I say to you Molly, stop whining to us about your sour grapes and figure out what you can do to rescue yourself.
