Dear Editor:

High-speed rail advocates would convert America into a European-style socialistic-communistic, USSR wannabe, tax us out of our cars, into concrete, high-rise Dirodonominiums along lite rail and bullet train tracks as they paint auto-users like cigarette smokers.

Will our leaders permit this exploitation to satisfy the Utopian schemers in the Politico-Transit Alliance? Is Gilroy the collision point for two incompatible railroads? The point where a railroad collides with a Soviet-style horizontal elevator?

But in a larger sense, were two social orders, socialism and capitalism, hit head-on?

Bullet train technology is incompatible with UP’s railroad, and its philosophical foundation is contrary to American free enterprise.

Like Amtrak, Caltrain, BART, Lite Rail (HEAVY SOCIALISM), riders’ fares must be heavily subsidized (99-plus percent) by taxpayers to build and operate Bullet Train.

Raping Pacheco Pass with Bullet Train’s right-of-way illustrates what it will do to taxpayers, as the Politico-Transit Alliance pushes California and America toward an unattainable socialist Utopia.

UP’s eminent domain powers trump Bullet Train’s eminent domain powers, following the reasoning in the Supreme Court’s coal slurry pipeline decision, so where are local leaders going to put their Bullet-in-the-Brain train?

It is not included in the General Plan, but state and federal preemption override local government. Caltrain does not own UP’s right-of-way; they only rent space so Amtrak can operate Caltrain’s trains. The real issue is: Do we hate our children and grandchildren so much that we will damn their fate to unsustainable socialist transit? Do we hate them enough to take the America we inherited from our grandfathers and bequeath them a Soviet wannabe Marxist-Leninist catastrophe?

Will our leaders sacrifice our priceless heritage of freedom to chase the Soviet planners’ dream?

If you thought we deserve USA Today’s description as the “worst run State in America,” just wait until we start paying the additional taxes our leaders will demand to run the Bullet-in-the-Brain train. Will this silver bullet be our Trojan Horse?
