This is in response to the Sept. 12 Citizens Voice comment about
the Baler Baseball Coach opening, but first I wish to comment on
the fact that if you are going to write in at least be a stand up
person and sign your name. I strongly disagree with the Citizens
Voice section. This is the first time i have written to the
paper.

I strongly disagree with the Citizens Voice section. This is the first time i have written to the paper.
With that said i have known Mr. Barnes for about 11 years. We are not close friends, but good enough to where I feel outraged that someone would make a comment about him but not do it in the letter’s segment and sign their name.
Many of you probably don’t know that Derek has been involved in baseball for many years – working with our youth to make them better all around athletes as well as people. These jobs usually are non-paid positions and they do this for the love of the game and to help our children become model young adults.
Next time you have an opinion that could hurt someone’s family, as well as themselves, maybe you should look within yourself before casting judgements on others.
