If anyone needs proof of the absence of soul on the part of the
American press, look no further than the recent shooting of the
attorney is Southern California. Several
”
so-called
”
videographers taped the unfortunate lawyer being shot several
times by a deranged individual. Not one of them dropped his camera
and tried to prevent the attack! While watching the attack, one
could see several film crews jockeying for better pictures while
the attacker pumped round after round into the victim.

When the gunman had run out of ammunition, he walked down the street followed by film crews. He was only subdued when an off-duty sheriff’s deputy had the courage to tackle him. This of course was also filmed.
The lawyer survived, no thanks to the press. It was a feeding frenzy of filming! If the man could have died in front of the cameras would it have made better video?
Has the press no shame? Of course not, that’s why we only get bad news about Iraq! The press is not interested in the truth, only in selling copy. The New York Times is no better than the National Enquirer! It’s enough to make one ashamed!
