Oh my God, here we go again. I just sat down to read the Free
Lance and when I got to the Citizens Voice, I was appalled at the
slandering remarks about this case involving Officer Thul.
I was not at the scene of this incident, but if this witness saw
something, what did he or she do to get heard? I know several of
the officers that work here in town, not by being friends with
them, but by coming in contact with them in good times and bad.
The officers have always been there when we have needed them and
I have a lot of respect for the job they do by keeping our town
safe for us and our children.

As far as Officer Thul, both of my boys had the pleasure of meeting and learning from him in our school system on a weekly basis during a program he worked on at the schools near our house. They spoke highly of him and respected the job he was doing to educated them.
Again I say, if you have something to say, have the GUTS to sign your name to it! How would you like it if someone wrote something about you and accused you of doing something that may or may not be true? Does the word “slander” ring a bell?
To all of the police in our area, thank you for doing a job that most people would not want to do! I may not always agree with you, but I thank you for being here to protect and serve!

Hollister
