 In loving memory, Raymond Perez of Gilroy, CA passed away suddenly on Friday March 25th, 2016.
 Raymond was orphaned at age two, and was raised by his grandmother in Greenville, TX. 
 At 19 years old, he married his sweetheart, Mariana. Soon after,they left Texas and settled in the CA bay area. 
 Ray and Mariana had five children and raised them all in San Carlos, CA. 
 They had recently celebrated 70 years of marriage on March 15th, 2016. They were Gilroy locals since 1989.
 Ray was extremely hard working and always provided well for his family. He was very proud of his profession as a truck driver hauling lumber, which he did for over 40 years.
 Ray had a very loving, honest and dependable character. A keen sense of humor and a quick wit. He loved talking to people, being outdoors, working around his house, taking walks and taking his fifth wheel on the road. He also loved a good game of dominos, especially when he was winning.
 Ray is survived by his wife, Mariana, his daughters, Paula (Efron), Jeannie (Melvin), JoAnne (Mike) his sons, Robert (Janis) and Ray Jr. He had 14 grandchildren: David, Richard, Raymond, Terry, Cindy, Leona, Ramona, Rebecca, Nicole, Clint, Sarah, Tonya, Sam and Kyle. Many great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. 
 Ray lived a great life and will be dearly missed.
