O. J. was born August 21, 1917, in Kawkawlin, MI.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Grace Bedell and his grandson Patrick.
He is survived by his daughter Martha Crum and his son and daughter-in-law John and Kaye Bedell. He also leaves three grandchildren Ruth Crum, Matthew Bedell and Jeffrey Bedell ; five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
O. J. served in the Army in WWII and worked for the Bank Of America in Hollister for 27 years retiring in 1972. He was a long standing member of the Elks Lodge and Ridgemark Golf Club.
