I never thought my best friend would come in the form of a 10-pound mini-dachshund. That’s exactly what Bowie is though, my best buddy.
In the three years we’ve known each other, Bowie and I have been inseparable. We’ve gone on all sorts of adventures together: By car, by plane, anywhere from the neighborhood pub to Disneyland (and everything in between!).
I know some may think, “Oh, that’s silly, he’s just a dog,” but Bowie is much more than that. He has been my right paw man through good times and bad. Although he may never know or understand, I am eternally grateful for his companionship.
