Volunteers from the American Red Cross provided blankets to the members of a Hollister family that lost their home in a fire Sunday morning. The fire, on Park Street, between Sally and Prune streets, did not result in injuries, but the residents lost many of their belongings.

American Red Cross volunteers provided blankets to the residents on Sunday morning. On Monday, they offered financial assistance to help the residents purchase new clothing and food.

There were no injuries in a Hollister house fire Sunday, but the structure was a complete loss.

The Sunday morning fire occurred in a house on Park Street between Sally and Prune streets.

While there were no injuries, the Hollister Fire Department is investigating the cause, according to a statement from Hollister police.

The local branch of the American Red Cross is assisting the residents, according to police.

Police shortly after the fire started had advised residents to stay away from the blaze.

Police notified the public of the fire at about 10:15 a.m.
