The Aromas Eagles are proud to honor the memory of Bruce Woolpert by donating $5,000 in his memory to the development of the A.R. Wilson Quarry sports complex, according to a press statement.

According to the announcement from the Aromas Eagles:

Woolpert and Granite Rock, the company he served as president, were major supporters of the sports complex that will be the home to Aromas youth sports leagues and community events. The complex is named after Granite Rock quarry operation in Aromas.

“Bruce Woolpert exemplified the highest ideals of community service,” said Leslie Austin, president of the Aromas Aerie No. 72 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. “We are proud to make this donation in his honor.

The 17-acre sports complex is currently under construction. The project is under the directions of the non-profit Aromas Community Center Foundation.

The Aromas Eagles are a fraternal organization that supports numerous youth activities and community groups in the Aromas area.
