The Hollister High boys soccer team blanked host Salinas 2-0 Thursday as the Tri-County Athletic League season continued to wind down.

The Balers (7-4-2, 4-4-1) end the season Tuesday vs. Palma at 5:30 p.m.

Hollister had goals from Ernesto Lostanau and Brian Vargas.

“We had a slow start because we had to adjust to that fast turf in The Pit,” said Baler coach Michael Warner. “Isidro Trujillo was tremendous and had the best game of anybody.”

Anzar High fell 3-0 in boys soccer to King City in a MTAL match Thursday. The Hawks (3-13, 3-11) host York on Saturday at 10 a.m.
