players to create a makeshift lineup between the three Viking
varsity wrestlers and the three Haybaler JV wrestlers.
The Balers won the match 50-24 despite giving most of their top
wrestlers the night off.

“We are going to spend the next couple weeks training hard for the second half,” said Baler coach Matt Olejnik. “We want to try to push the action in matches. We will probably split time between the wrestling room and road work like running and climbing hills. We still haven’t given up on a section title.”

145 – Steven Gonzales, making his first varsity appearance, was ahead 7-5 in the third period before being pinned

152 – Balers received a forfeit

171 – Kyle Horn pinned his opponent in the first period

189 – Ryan Dunn pinned his opponent in the second period

Hvy – Jake Mahan lost a 14-7 decision
