year Tuesday with an 11-1 decision over Pacific Grove on the
Breakers’ diamond in the Coast Classic Tournament.

Justin Patton worked five of the six innings and gave up just three hits for his first win of the season. Brett Fulgoni pitched the sixth.

Nick Ramos had two hits for the Balers while Gordon Ross chipped in two RBI.

Action in the tournament continues Thursday with Hollister battling Monterey at Sollecito Park in Monterey at 3:30 p.m. The championship round is Saturday.

The first home date for the Balers is March 8 vs. Paso Robles in a doubleheader.
