The Anzar High baseball team defeated Minarets 11-2 on Thursday in a non-conference game in O’Neals, which is located about 30 minutes north of Fresno.

The comfortable win for the Hawks followed a loss to Greenfield last Wednesday, when Anzar dropped a 9-3 contest to the host Bruins.

No details were reported at press time.

Anzar is now 3-4 overall on the season.

The Hawks are scheduled to host Soledad on Wednesday in San Juan Bautista. First pitch is 4 p.m.
