The Hollister Junior League All-Stars, the Hollister National 11- and 12-year-old All-Stars and the Hollister National 9- and 10-year-old All-Stars each lived to see another game on Wednesday night when they each toppled their respective opponents in the NorCal Division II Tournament.

More important, each team advanced to the championship round, which kicks off Thursday night.

The Junior League All-Stars defeated Half Moon Bay for a second time by a 20-10 margin on Wednesday night at American River College in Sacramento. Hollister had previously defeated Half Moon Bay by a 10-1 score to the tournament last Saturday.

Hollister will now square off against Rocklin in the Division II championship, although will need to beat the Section 4 representative twice in order to claim the NorCal title.

Rocklin previously defeated Hollister 6-1 on Tuesday to advance to the championship round, which is slated to begin at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday night. If Hollister wins, a winner-take-all game will be played on Friday night at 9:30 p.m.

It’s a similar scenario for the Hollister National 11- and 12-year-old All-Stars, who topped Tri-City (Rocklin) 12-6 for a second time on Wednesday night to advance to the championship round. The boys in blue previously defeated Tri-City 3-2 last Saturday to open the Division II tournament.

Hollister National will now see Napa National in the Division II final. However, the local All-Stars will need to upend the Section 1 representative twice in order to claim the tournament championship.

Napa National previously defeated Hollister National 4-3 on Tuesday to advance to the championship. The two teams will square off in a rematch on Thursday night, though, with a first pitch slated for 7 p.m. at Vacaville’s Centennial Park.

If Hollister wins, a second, winner-take-all game will be held on Friday night at 7 p.m.

Meanwhile, over at Chico Eastside Little League, the Hollister National 9- and 10-year-old All-Stars won their third straight game in the elimination bracket when they avenged an early-tournament loss to Sutter Buttes by defeating the Section 2 representative by a 7-2 margin.

Hollister National previously lost to Sutter Buttes by a 4-2 score on Sunday.

Hollister National will now face off against San Ramon in the championship round on Thursday night. First pitch is 7 p.m.

Hollister will need to beat the Section 3 representative twice in order to claim the Division II title. If the local All-Stars are able to win Thursday’s game, a second, winner-take-all contest will be slated for Friday at 7 p.m.
