Baseball: Katich, locals help Rams go to 8-5

Gabe Katich pitched seven scoreless innings, former Christopher star Bryant Cid doubled twice and scored three runs, and former Live Oak standout Connor Sutton had three hits to lead Gavilan College’s baseball team to a 9-3 win at Skyline on Tuesday.

Katich scattered six hits, walked one and struck out seven in seven frames for the Rams, who improved to 8-5.
