San Benito opened its home season Tuesday with its most impressive game yet, blowing away Seaside in a 59-23 win.
All 11 players scored for San Benito in the win.
The game was going San Benito’s way from the very beginning. The Balers outscored Seaside 25-9 in the first half, and led 45-15 entering the final quarter.
Led by 12 points from Taylor Fabing, San Benito never trailed. Kelsey Robledo added 10 points for the Balers, and three other players added 6 points.
“They looked really good,” head coach Mitch Burley said.
With the win, San Benito is now 6-2 on the season. San Benito travels to Soquel on Thursday. The game begins at 5:30 p.m.
