New VP of Clinical Services named
HOLLISTER
– Hollister Hawkins Hospital’s board of directors recently named
a new vice president of clinical services for the San Benito Health
Care District.
Lois Owens, the new vice president, has 25 years of health care
management experience. She most recently worked as vice president
of patient care at Saint Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy for
eight years. She has also served as a director of ancillary
services, director of perioperative services and obstetrics head
nurse.
She has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in nursing, with a
masters of business administration with an emphasis on health care
management.

As a longtime Hollister resident, Lois is very familiar with our
community and we are pleased to have her join our team,

said Ken Underwood, CEO of Hazel Hawkins.

Her expertise in the nursing field combined with her management
experience is truly an asset to the District.
