Coldwell Banker donates to Habitat for Humanity
LOS GATOS
– The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Community
Foundation, based in the south Bay and Monterey area, donated
$268,000 to benefit 10 Northern California Habitat for Humanity
home construction projects, including the San Benito County
chapter.
The grant is from money raised through a company wide raffle
last fall. The San Benito County chapter of Habitat for Humanity
will receive $5,242. The local chapter has started rehabilitation
projects on a few local homes and expects to complete the
construction by the end of 2008.
The 2008 Habitat for Humanity raffle will run July 7 through

Local tests for fifth-degree black belt
HOLLISTER – Mark Preader, owner of West Coast World Martial Arts of Hollister, is testing for the rank of fifth-degree black belt on May 31. Preader, who is a member of the world-famous Ernie Reyes West Coast World Martial Arts Association ( www.erniereyes.com ) has been training intensely for this test for the past several months. In the martial arts, any rank of fifth degree black belt or higher is considered “Master” level.
