Huboi Architecture celebrates new locale

The San Benito County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the new location of Huboi Architecture.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the new spot, 601 McCray St., suite 202. The business in September moved from its prior location at the old hospital on Monterey Street where it operated for about a dozen years, said David Huboi, a part owner.

The new spot is right above Domino’s Pizza.

“I’ll miss it – I’ll miss the hospital,” Huboi said, noting how it’s good for a business to change locations at least once and that the business is looking at a “new direction.”

At Monday’s ceremony, the chamber also will honor Huboi Architecture as its business of the quarter.

“It’s great to be honored in that way,” he said.
