Caltrans has installed three new traffic cameras showing real-time conditions along U.S. 101 in Monterey County.
Caltrans maintains a website where drivers can see real-time traffic conditions on many roads throughout the state. There is one camera in San Benito County, where U.S. 101 meets eastbound Highway 156.

Caltrans has announced the addition of three new traffic cameras which show real-time traffic conditions on its District 5 web page. These new cameras have been activated in the following locations:
US Highway 101 at Espinosa Road in Monterey County.
US Highway 101 at Crazy Horse Canyon Road in the Prunedale area of Monterey County.
US Highway 101 at State Route 156 East in Monterey County.
There are currently nineteen cameras in San Luis Obispo County, nine in Santa Cruz County, seven in Monterey County, nine in Santa Barbara County and one in San Benito County.

In addition, motorists may call the automated California Highway Information Network (CHIN) @ 800-427-7623 or use http://quickmap.dot.ca.gov/ to get current conditions for any highway in the state.
