Caltrans is planning work next week on a five-mile section on Highway 156 from San Juan Bautista to Hollister.
According to an announcement from Caltrans:
Caltrans maintenance crews will be grinding and paving a five-mile section of east and westbound Highway 156 from Alameda Street in San Juan Bautista to Buena Vista Road in Hollister starting Monday, March 2 for one week, Caltrans officials have announced.
One-way reversing traffic control in effect. Work hours are Monday, March 2 through Thursday, March 5 from 9 am to 3 pm and Friday, March 6 from 9 am to noon. Motorists can expect a delay not to exceed five minutes. Work is scheduled to be complete by Friday, March 6.
An electronic message sign will be posted alerting motorists of this work, which is being done by our Hollister Maintenance crew. This roadwork is necessary for the preservation of the road and safety of the travelling public.
