Road in Hollister, she did it to keep her family close together.
With the help of her daughter at the deli, they both can spend
plenty of time with MaGee’s 10-week-old grandson. MaGee joked that
her grandson is the real boss around the place.

When Victoria MaGee opened her new Italian Deli on San Felipe Road in Hollister, she did it to keep her family close together. With the help of her daughter at the deli, they both can spend plenty of time with MaGee’s 10-week-old grandson. MaGee joked that her grandson is the real boss around the place.
“The deli keeps us close,” MaGee said. “My daughter can be with me and my grandson can be with me.”
A caterer for years, working on weekends, MaGee recently decided to open the deli to keep herself busy during the weekdays. It also provided the opportunity to have a bigger commercial kitchen to expand on the catering aspect of her business. Just four weeks into the new venture, she brings years worth of catering, event planning and family to the table.
When heading over to Victoria’s bring a big Sunday dinner appetite and enjoy anything and everything from a hearty turkey sandwich to meatballs with gravy and a variety of pastas.
“My Nana’s 97 and still makes ravioli in the kitchen,” MaGee said.
With a history in the cook’s room, Victoria’s Italian Deli is sure to be the place to go when you want that home cooked meal without any of the work.
“I was raised in the kitchen,” MaGee said.
