The festivities for the 78th annual San Benito County Saddle Horse Show & Rodeo kick off Thursday evening with the annual parade downtown.

The parade Thursday hosted by the chamber of commerce starts at 6:15 p.m. along San Benito Street and is followed by an annual fiesta on the Veterans Memorial Building plaza with music and activities for kids.

The parade runs on San Benito Street from Palmtag Drive to Fifth Street and then over to Monterey Street.

The saddle horse show and rodeo events continue Friday and run through Sunday at Bolado Park.
