An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4 shook near Hollister early Friday, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake hit at 2:08 a.m. and was centered 22 miles southeast of Hollister, according to the USGS. It was 3.7 miles northwest of Pinnacles National Park and at a depth of 4.5 miles, the USGS reported.
People reported on the USGS website that they felt the quake as far west as Santa Cruz as to the north near Morgan Hill, according to the USGS.
