The fifth annual Emmaus House Food & Wine event will be held at San Juan Oaks at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 25 and will kick off with appetizers and wines from Wild Eye.
That will be followed by the first of the sitdown courses prepared by Rob Stevens from Paine’s paired with Donati Chardonnay. Mike Fisher of Fisher’s Catering will be up next with a stellar dish paired with Pietra Santa wine. Doug Kuerschner III will be following that up with one of his signature dishes matched with Teague Cabernet Sauvignon. The main course will be from Matt Sneddon of Bon Apetit and wine from Alicats. And the piece de resistance will be something lovely from Kelsey Larson of Bernardus Lodge and Randall Graham, Bonnydoon’s Rhone Ranger’s dessert wine offering as well as dessert beer from Chllin’ & Grillin.
There will be many great auction Items and all of it will be MC’d by Phil Fortino. All proceeds benefit Emmaus House,the county’s only domestic violence center. Organizers will sell only 125 tickets at $125 each.
