years are complex. The Pinnacle has studied the issues in many of
the races and, over the past few weeks, has made endorsements or
recommendations, without regard to party lines, in those races we
felt qualified to judge. The following is a recap of those

Measure U, Hollister growth cap: Yes. Without the measure, the council can overturn the current cap.

Hollister City Council District 2: Robert “Robbie” Scattini.

Hollister City Council District 3: Randy Pfeiffer.

San Benito County District Attorney: John Sarsfield.

Board of Supervisors District 4: Ron Rodrigues.

State Senate District 12: Rusty Areias.

State Assembly: Simon Salinas.

San Juan Bautista City Council, three seats:

Pricilla Hill, Arturo “Art” Medina, Charles “Chuck” Geiger.

San Benito Health Care District: Sharon A. Scagliotti, Dr. Nazhat P. Sharma.

U.S. House of Representatives: Sam Farr.
