Five police officers responded to a fight Wednesday night at 7:48 p.m. involving 10-15 people on the amphitheater at Christmas Hill Park on Uvas Parkway, leaving one person injured.

That person went to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries in the fight’s aftermath, said Police Sgt. Gallacinao. No arrests were made, because some people fled before police arrived on the scene, Gallacinao said.

Police are investigating an allegation that someone whipped out a knife during the fight.

Gallacinao did not give the ages or genders of those involved in the fight, but did say that the incident appears not to be gang related.
