The Calfire planes at the Hollister Municipal Airport

A wildfire burned about four acres near Pinnacles National Park on Monday afternoon before Calfire contained the blaze, according to a Calfire spokesman.
The fire was reported at 2:33 p.m. just northeast of Pinnacles National Park in San Benito County. Crews had it contained at 3:35 p.m. It threatened three structures but did not damage any of them, according to Calfire spokesman Jonathan Pangburn.
Pangburn said initial reports stated how there were power lines down in the area of the fire, but he was not able to immediately confirm an official cause.
The fire did not reach any of the Pinnacles boundaries and was near ranch houses, Pangburn said.
Calfire responded with engines and air-attack units, he said.
