The Balers fourth and final non-league game has been canceled, San Benito athletic director Tod Thatcher announced Tuesday. San Benito was supposed to play Los Altos on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

No reason for the cancellation was given. Both teams, though, have suffered numerous injuries in the season’s first three weeks.

San Benito will return to the field in its Monterey Bay League opener on Oct. 5 against Salinas.

The Balers enter the game with a 1-2 record after losing consecutive games to Palo Alto and Willow Glen.
